Approved city plans for new student housing project
The city plans for the new KI Residence Solna have today been approved. This project, due for completion in 2021, will bring about 400 apartments and rooms for international students and researchers on the KI Campus in Solna.
Featuring a modern design, the new KI Residence Solna will provide students and researchers with new amenities close to campus, including:
• Modern kitchen, dining and laundry facilities
• Fully equipped media and game rooms
• Central courtyards and recreation spaces
The buildings will be built in the shape of the letter A in order to better cope with the noise level and will mostly consist of studio flats but also 1 and 3 bedroom flats will be available. There will be 263 studio flats of 23 m2.
